The Zeus Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the academic pursuits of students at the University of Akron and the Franciscan University of Steubenville, through annual scholarships. Funded by generous charitable contributions from Zeus Properties, Cronos Properties, and Sky Titan Properties, the foundation is committed to fostering excellence in the field of Classical Studies. It offers scholarships to students majoring or minoring in Classical Studies, with a focus on subjects such as the writings of Plato and Aristotle, Latin reading and research, as well as the archaeology of the ancient Near East and the civilizations of Greece and Rome. By providing financial assistance, the Zeus Foundation enables students to deepen their understanding of ancient cultures, languages, philosophies, and archaeological discoveries that have shaped the modern world.
